Is a repeat test ever needed, or is one test result final for life?
Your genetic makeup doesn’t change, so a result for a specific gene doesn’t need to be repeated. However, a new or broader test may be recommended later if earlier testing didn’t provide an answer, or if newer testing technology becomes available.
