Founded by Dr. Roshan Daniel, Genetidoc Genetic Clinic and DNA Testing Lab was created with a vision to make reliable, high-quality genetic consultation and DNA testing accessible across India. Although recently established, the team brings over 5 years of dedicated experience in medical genetics, having collectively managed more than 10,000 cases across a wide range of genetic disorders.
Based in Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Roshan Daniel is among the leading medical geneticists in India and one of the few qualified specialists in Kerala. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram, followed by MD Pediatrics and DM Medical Genetics from PGIMER Chandigarh. He is among the few European Board Certified Geneticists in India and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Precision Oncology.
Currently heading the Department of Medical Genetics at KIMSHEALTH, he established Kerala’s first private-sector Rare Disease Clinic and the state’s first Comprehensive Oncogenetics Clinic. He also leads one of India’s advanced hospital-based genomics laboratories offering technologies including NGS, MLPA, Sanger sequencing, RT-PCR, karyotyping, and FISH.
Genetidoc was founded to address a major gap in the genetic testing industry, where low-cost testing, incomplete analysis, ambiguous reports, and lack of expert interpretation often affect patient care. At Genetidoc, all consultations and report interpretations are handled exclusively by qualified genetic doctors, with testing performed through leading NABL and CAP-accredited laboratories to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and clinical relevance.
With a strong focus on genetic counselling and patient education, the clinic helps individuals and families clearly understand their reports and make informed healthcare decisions. Dr. Roshan Daniel has authored multiple international publications, contributed to research in reproductive genetics and congenital anomalies, and is a recognized expert in hereditary cancers, precision oncology, and molecular tumor boards.
