Terms with respect to consultations
- GenetiDoc offers specialized genetic consultations for individuals and families seeking evaluation and guidance for genetic or hereditary conditions.
- Consultations may include risk assessment, diagnostic guidance, genetic counseling, and test recommendations.
- These services are not intended for emergency care or as a substitute for routine medical treatment.2. Consultation Mode & Timings
- Consultations are available in two formats:• Online Teleconsultation (video call)• Offline/In-person consultation at the GenetiDoc Clinic, Trivandrum
- Appointment slots are available from Monday to Saturday, during evening hours (7:00 PM to 10:00 PM).3. Fees & Payment Policy
- The consultation fee is as mentioned in the booking form (currently ₹1000 per 30-minute session).
- Full payment is required in advance to confirm your booking.
- Rescheduling is permitted up to 24 hours before the appointment time.
- Cancellations and refunds are not allowed once the booking is confirmed.4. Submission of Case Details
- You are requested to upload relevant medical records, test reports, and family history as prompted during the booking process.
- Providing complete and accurate information ensures a more effective consultation.
- GenetiDoc is not responsible for suboptimal outcomes due to incomplete or incorrect data.5. Genetic Testing & Laboratory Services
- Based on clinical need, genetic testing may be recommended as part of the consultation.
- These tests will be facilitated through accredited partner laboratories, and pricing will be informed separately.
- Genetic testing is optional and will only proceed with your informed consent.6. Confidentiality & Data Use
- All personal health information shared during booking and consultation is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with medical ethics and privacy regulations.
- Your contact details will be used solely for communication related to your consultation.7. Language Support
- Consultations are available in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and (partially) Tamil depending on doctor availability.8. DisclaimerThe information provided during consultation is based on the clinical judgment of the attending geneticist and the data shared by the patient.
- It does not substitute for face-to-face physical examination or treatment by your primary healthcare provider.
- GenetiDoc bears no liability for decisions made solely based on the consultation without appropriate follow-up.
