2. Genetic report first – most exon-skipping trials require your child’s exact deletion/mutation confirmed by NGS or MLPA testing before you can even ask about eligibility.
3. Contact the trial site directly – use the investigator/sponsor contact info posted in the trial threads, not third-party agents.
4. Be wary of unregistered “treatments” – if a clinic offers a DMD gene therapy or stem-cell treatment with no CTRI number, treat it as unverified and ask fellow members before proceeding.
